Our Austrian colleagues at isoplus are one of the suppliers to deliver a 26 km long DN500 pipeline in the Czech Republic for general contractor TENZA, a.s. The pipe will connect the Temelin Nuclear Power Station and the city of České Budějovice. The project contains no less than 256 curved pipes, all of which have been bent on a mobile bending tool.

The solution is expected to cover about 30% of the entire city’s heating demand. Additionally, the solution brings with it a significant CO2 reduction, as the previous heating source, coal, will now be replaced with the CO2-neutral surplus heat.
